Chip Saunders was the Sergeant of the King Company, which fought in France during World War II, in the American classic TV show “COMBAT!”.
Sergeant Chip Saunders was superbly played by Vic Morrow.
Combat was a Selmur Production, created by Robert Pirosh.
Once again, I’m very glad to be able to honor here in DeviantArt, another great actor and his great character.
I made this drawing using B, HB and 6B pencils in 200 g/m2 A4 paper. It took me around 4 hours to finish it.

Nice
It's sad he came to such a bad ending
I watch all of the Combat shows when I was a kid (the first time it was on TV) Yes makes me and old fart :O_o:
But I think his hair is a bit long for a WWII Sergeant

Thank you for the nice words! Yes, it's really sad what happened to Vic in the 80's, he was a fantastic actor. I watched Combat when I was a kid, when they first aired it in Brazil, back in the beginning of the 70's. Well, I'm able to re-watch it again thanks to the TCM channel.
